Thar Block III power station is a proposed 1,320-megawatt (MW) coal plant in Sindh province, Pakistan.

Asia Power Group is a UK company whose flagship project is the development of the Thar Coalfields Blocks 3A & 3B located in the Sindh province of Pakistan. According to the Asia Power Group website, the company "is developing a mine mouth power station project with a capacity of some 1320 MW. On completion, Asia Power Group will own and operate one of the largest coal mining and power producing complexes in the world. In 2014 Asia Power was awarded Thar Block III for coal mining and a coal plant through a bidding process.
There have been no further reports on this project, and it appears to be shelved or abandoned.
