The Danish National Centre for Social Research is research organisation / think tank established and funded by the Danish Ministry of Social Affairs. On its website it states that its role is to "conduct research and carry out commissioned projects in the area of welfare state policies, and disseminate the results. The job is to generate new knowledge of relevance to society." [1]
