Tom Lin Regional Director, Central US: InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.

"After serving in Mongolia as country director for the InterVarsity/IFES (International Fellowship of Evangelical Students), Lin is now the regional director for the central United States with IFES. Lin saw his nomination to the Wycliffe USA board of directors as God’s answer to his and his wife Nancy’s prayer for a service opportunity beyond the borders of that country.

"A Taiwanese American, Lin has spent the majority of his life in the U.S., where he developed a passion for discipling Asian Americans. His book, Losing Face, Finding Grace, explores his struggles as an Asian American exploring what it means to find his identity in Christ.

"Before relocating to Mongolia, where he worked with the IFES to help students develop a culturally relevant Christian witness, Lin served with the Leadership and Legacy Foundation as executive director. Other past ministry roles included global missions consultant, national fundraising specialist, and ethnic ministry specialist for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, and leadership pastor for Wellspring Covenant Community Church.

"Lin is currently pursuing a master of arts in global leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary. A bachelor of arts in economics from Harvard University qualified him for earlier corporate experience as director of human resources for Altitude Software, and as director of U.S. recruiting for the Hewlett-Packard Company."
