Vedpal Singh Malik was a former Philip Morris scientist who was fired in June of 1992. He developed a method for removing nicotine from tobacco plants with Steve Haut. He described his research to Cathy Ellis, who told them to alter their lab notebooks and stop research.

Biography

Vedpal Singh Malik is from Richmond, VA. He is a former Philip Morris employee.(J. Flowers 5/23/94). He worked as a research scientist for Philip Morris from 1981 until he was fired in June 1992. He developed a method for removing nicotine from tobacco plants with Steve Haut. He described his research to Cathy Ellis, who told them to alter their lab notebooks and stop research.
