Winning Strategies

Winning Strategies Inc. is a Texas-based "marketing services company". James R. Leininger holds a controlling interest in Winning Strategies.

According to a 1999 article in the Dallas Observer, in 1998 Winning Strategies received more than $200,000 in sales tax funds from the town of Canton. (Texan towns and cities are permitted to levy sales taxes to subsidise projects deemed to promote economic progress.) According to the article, Winning Strategies uses approximately 40 per cent of its time "working for religious-right candidates and issues such as using public tax money for religious and other private schools".
