Zhaogu power station (焦作煤业集团赵固电厂) is a proposed 700-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Henan Province, China.
The map below shows the location where the plant would be built in Hui County.
Background on Project
Jiaozuo Mining Group is seeking permitting for a 2 x 350 MW coal plant in Zhaogu Village, Jitun Town, Hui County.
The project was permitted in March 2016.
Nationwide Restrictions Imposed on Development of Coal-Fired Power Capacity
In January 2017 China's National Energy Administration suspended over 100 planned and under-construction coal power projects, including Zhaogu. It is unclear when or if the projects will be revived.
