"Adebode Adefioye is an entrepreneur, a possibility thinker and a Chemist by training. He sits on the Boards of a number of companies, both private and publicly quoted in Nigeria, with focus on continuous improvement, good governance and long-term sustainability of these organizations. He joined the Board of Lafarge Africa Plc in December 2012 and has served on several committees. He has chaired a couple of the Board’s committees, including the Property Committee and Finance and Strategy Committee.

"Ade has over 35 years of diverse experience serving clients in manufacturing, agriculture, and finance. He joined John Holt Plc. (a conglomerate) as a Management trainee in 1987, serving in diverse managerial positions and fields which include: sales, marketing, quality assurance & control, human resources management administration and general management.

"He started his career at the University of Lagos, as a Graduate Assistant and Demonstrator in the Department of Chemistry, where he had a brief stint lecturing, before leaving academia for industry and the business world.

"He is an alumnus of the University of Lagos, where he obtained B.Sc.(Hons) degree in Chemistry and M.Sc. degree in Analytical Chemistry. He attended Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo and is a member of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria and the Institute of Public Analysts.

"Ade’s current endeavours are entrepreneurial, spanning finance, banking, manufacturing and agriculture. He has strong family ties, a proud father, passionate about community and youth development, reading, keen on photography and plays golf for leisure. He was a golf captain in 2005." [1]
