  • A Bethlehem University representative to the Abraham Path Initiative, an international project sponsored by the Global Negotiation Project of Harvard Law School with the goal of opening tourist routes in the footsteps of the Prophet Abraham . . . from Harran, Turkey to Abraham's Tomb in Hebron, November 2006 - Present.
  • A founder and member of the Friends of Bethlehem’s native Jabra Ibrahim Jabra, 1996 – Present. One of the organizers of the First Local Book Exhibition and Cultural Activities, the Bethlehem Peace Center, Bethlehem, February 2004.
  • Member, Board of Trustees and Administrative Committee, Jerusalem Swedish Society's Good Shepherd School in Bethlehem/Beit Jala, August 2003-Present.
  • Al-Liqa' Center for Religious and Heritage Studies in the Holy Land, Bethlehem / Jerusalem. Member of Board of Trustees and Executive committee, 1988- present. Prior to that active in “Christianity in the Holy Land” Program and “the Christian-Muslim Dialogue Conference”, in Tantur, Jerusalem 1982-1987.
  • Member, Board of Trustees, Tent of Nations (Land threatened by Israeli confiscation), September 2005 – Present.
  • The Antonian Charitable Society, Bethlehem. Administrative Committee member 1985-1996 and Vice President, 1987 - 1996. Society runs the Antonian Home for the Elderly and other charitable activities in the Latin Parish of Bethlehem. Elected for membership in the Society's Board, July 2003-Present.
