"Alasdair joined Restrata, having spent the last 2 years working in the cyber security domain, firstly acting as a CTO and MD of new tech start up building a Cyber Security Operations Centre for UK G Cloud customers based on unique UK originated technology, and over that period having been appointed to advise a key friendly government in the ME region on national security and intelligence issues.

"Prior to that, Alasdair was the MD of QinetiQ’s cyber security and national security business; where he led a 300 man business which was responsible for providing specialist engineering support to national security clients and also providing specialist cyber defence managed services to government departments and key blue chip clients such as BA and the Bank of England. Before that, he was one of practice leads within Ove Arup’s security and resilience practice and was their commercial lead as well. He acted as Programme Manager of a number of multi-disciplinary security design programmes and developed significant experience working in the Middle East.

"He joined Arup from QinetiQ, where in his first stint in that company, he was the operations director for their technical assurance consulting business. Prior to that, he worked as a Principal Consultant with Anite Plc, working with clients such as Airbus, MBDA and BAE Systems on how to improve strategic account management and CRM. "[1]
