Albert J. Siemens, PhD

"Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, PharmaLinkFHI and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, FHI.

"Dr. Siemens has been CEO of PharmaLink since its affiliation with Family Health International in 1999, providing executive leadership for both companies. He initially joined FHI in 1983 as director of clinical trials. As vice president of research in 1986, he was instrumental in the formation of FHI's first commercial CRO, Clinical Research International (CRI). He served as president of CRI until it was sold to ClinTrials Research Inc. From 1991 through 1997, Dr. Siemens was an executive vice president for ClinTrials, with responsibility for international corporate expansion and business development.

"Dr. Siemens' career in medicinal product development began at Pfizer, Inc., where he was responsible for clinical studies of cardiovascular, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and psychotropic agents in domestic and international divisions of the company. His pharmaceutical background is augmented by seven years of research management and teaching experience in pharmacology at the Research Institute on Alcoholism and the State University of New York at Buffalo.

"Dr. Siemens holds BSc (Pharmacy) and MS degrees from the University of Manitoba, and a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto." [1]
