Biographical Information

"As chief spokesperson for Family and Parenting Institute and Daycare Trust, he has given numerous interviews including for Panorama, ITV Tonight, Sky News, the BBC and Radio 4's Today Programme. He has also written on childcare policy for the Guardian, and been interviewed by the Economist and Times newspaper.

"Anand was previously a social enterprise consultant in the third sector, working at the UK children's charity Barnardo's and at the international development charity Allavida. During this time, he set up Barnardo's national training arm, Barnardo's TLC. He has also provided consultancy on international development and energy management. His early career was spent in the publishing sector.

"Anand is a trustee of the international development charity CINI UK, a Clore 2012 Social Fellow, and a writer with numerous published articles on issues ranging from international politics, electoral reform and emotional intelligence. He is a graduate from Keble College, Oxford. He is married and has three children."[1]
