Lady Annie Norrie
In 2010 "Royal Air Force and Army helicopters stationed at British forces' training camps near Samburu National Reserve, 190 miles north of Nairobi, were scrambled to help" rescue "Lady Annie Norrie, from Dumfriesshire, who was staying with her husband George at the £400-a-night Elephant Watch Camp" in Kenya. "The nearby field headquarters of conservation organisation Save The Elephants was almost completely demolished." [1]
