Anthony Garrett "has an extensive background in national and international campaign management, fundraising and communication and has worked with key Congressional members for twenty years. He is presently on leave of absence as Vice President of Policy and Development for the Internews Network., where he has worked for the last 11 years. He has significantly expanded Internews’ telecommunications policy efforts, developed programs in the Former Soviet Union, Southeast Asia , the Middle East , Africa and Latin America and headed Washington policy strategy as well as development efforts worldwide. He also served as a communications consultant for the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and is on the Board of Directors of the Center for Citizens Initiatives. He received an Honorary Doctorate from Colorado College for political and policy activism." [1]
