Bell Institute of Health and Nutrition
The Bell Institute of Health and Nutrition was created by General Mills, the leading kids' sugar cereals company, to generate industry-friendly research under the cover of seemingly impartial institutes with lofty, objective-sounding names that convey scientific integrity. According to its website, its mission is to "contribute to research on whole grains, micronutrients and breakfast, and publish research and scientific articles in leading peer-reviewed journals."
