Biographical Information

"TV presenter and adventurer Ben Fogle is taking his support for Centrepoint to the extreme - by swimming the Atlantic ocean in just 100 days! Along with two other charities close to his heart, Ben will undertake the gruelling challenge in 2013, accompanied by a yacht crewed by Centrepoint young people. if he succeeds, he'll be only the second person ever to complete the challenge!... He has presented numerous programmes including BBC's Animal Park, Wild In Africa, Countryfile, Crufts, One Man and His Dog and Extreme Dreams. Ben also writes regularly for the Sunday Telegraph and the Independent and has written five bestselling books, including The Accidental Adventurer. He is also an ambassador for WWF, Medecins Sans Frontier and Tusk, a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the President of the Campaign for National Parks. Ben is a special correspondent for NBC News in the United States, reporting from all over the world for Today, Dateline and MSNBC Nightly News."[1]
