Writing about Climate Change

English has interviewed Roy Spencer, a noted sourced of climate misinformation, about climate change for Science 2.0. English refers to Spencer as a climate "skeptic." In the article Spencer suggested that clouds play the main role in warming the planet. This was refuted by a reader, whose comments English published, while giving Spencer the final say.[5][6][7] English has also questioned the scientific consensus on climate change.[8]

Defense of Agrochemicals and GMOs

On his podcast, English interviewed Josh Bloom who was at the time the Senior Director of chemical and pharmaceutical sciences at the American Council on Science and Health about the insecticide chlorpyrifos, who explained "why the evidence doesn't justify a nationwide ban" on the chemical.[9] English also defends glyphosate and genetic engineering techniques as being safe on his blog, and claims that "There’s no evidence that the herbicide paraquat causes Parkinson’s Disease" on the GLP Biotech Facts & Fallacies Podcast with Kevin Folta.[10][11]
