Biographical Information

"Candace Semigran’s life is dedicated to serving the human Spirit and promoting personal transformation. Directing her work towards assisting people in gaining greater self-awareness, inner peace, and living and leading from the heart, Ms. Semigran holds the vision that transforming ourselves will lead to global transformation and influence world peace.

"In addition to serving as Past President and CEO of Insight Seminars, and currently as Executive Vice President of Insight Seminars – Continuing Education Division of Insight University, Candace is also one of Insight’s Senior Facilitators and serves on the University’s Board of Trustees.

"Ms. Semigran has more than thirty years experience as an educator and has been involved with Insight Seminars since its inception in January 1978. As an innovator in the field of experiential learning initiatives and heart-centered learning, Candace is personally involved in Insight’s program development and the training of new Insight facilitators. To that end, she has traveled extensively throughout the United States, South America, Australia, Europe and the Caribbean, facilitating personal and professional development, self-esteem, service and leadership seminars for thousands of people.

"Candace is the author of One-Minute Self-Esteem: Caring For Yourself and Others, a workbook/audio package entitled 250 Ways to Enhance Your Self-Esteem and is currently working to complete her third book, Peace is a Verb: Peace on Earth From the Inside Out.

"Ms. Semigran is also co-founder and serves on the Board of Directors of EduCare Foundation, an organization she founded with her husband Stu, whose mission is to inspire and empower young people to become responsible citizens, compassionate leaders, and to live their dreams.

"Ms. Semigran holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, a California Lifetime Teaching Credential, Master’s Degrees in Theology and Spiritual Psychology and is currently working to complete her Doctorate in Spiritual Science. Candace currently lives in Thousand Oaks, California with her husband and their twenty-one year old son."[1]
