Center for the Study of Strategic Nonviolent Defense "

"The Center for the Study of Strategic Nonviolent Defense is a virtual center that represents an international network of researchers, translators, writers and activists with the common goal of promoting the education of nonviolent action as the most effective method of causing social change.

"Our network's goal is to publish and analyze such nonviolent strategies and tactics and draw conclusions on their effectiveness by reviewing their usage in the past in various countries from around the world. We will also regularly publish and analyze videos of nonviolent actions from around the world on this site as well as through a number of upcoming programs on Voice of America and satellite TV stations. Our network is international and includes Iranian participants from across Iran as well as outside of Iran." [1]

"Center for the Study of Strategic Nonviolent Defense is an apolitical online educational resource center. Part of our program involves providing this curriculum, translations and videos. The backbone of our curriculum is based on the latest edition of Center for Applied NonViolent Action and Strategies (CANVAS)’s Student Curriculum, which our center has fully translated into Farsi."
