"Charles Odita holds a First Class Honours, Bachelors of Engineering degree (1984) and a Masters of Engineering (1987) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Benin, Nigeria. Thereafter, he worked as an Industrial Water Technical Sales Engineer with Pinnacle Holdings Limited in Lagos. Between 1988 and 2007, he worked with Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC), with over four years of cross-posting with Netherlands Aardoile Maatschappij (NAM) in Assen, Netherlands (the local Dutch oil-producing company) and Shell Research in Rijswijk, Netherlands.

"From 2007 to 2014, he worked with Notore Chemical Industries Ltd, as Chief Technical Officer, Group Chief Technical Officer and he left as the Group Chief Operating Officer.

"He joined the Midwestern Oil and Gas Company Limited, Nigeria in 2014 and worked as Managing Director and currently working as the Group Managing Director/CEO. He sits on the board of several companies."[1]
