Biographical Information

Chris Hock, Head Structured Finance Pan-African Capital Holdings: "Chris Hock has worked in all three streams of development finance: government, NGO and investment banking. After five years at Development Bank of SA he founded one of South Africa's leading developmental micro lenders (housing and micro-enterprise). In 2001, he joined Rand Merchant Bank to develop an affordable housing finance business.

"In 2004, he joined Pan-African to head up the financial structuring team working on housing finance, financing public transport, specialist investment funds and private equity. Past directorships include the Micro Finance Regulatory Council and the Micro-Enterprise Alliance. He holds a B.Com (Hons) from University of Cape Town and an M.Com (Economics). " [1]
