Biographical Information

"Christine joined Autistica at the end of 2010, having held a variety of Board positions in the health and education sector, including Chairman of Kingston Hospital NHS Trust and Vice Chairman of Kingston University. Her NHS experience is wide ranging having also served as a Non-executive Director of a leading London Mental Health Trust.

"Her interest in autism developed when she became a Trustee of Treehouse, an autism education charity which is now known as Ambitious About Autism. She has considerable experience of the charity sector having also held a number of Trusteeships, including the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability and St John’s School in Leatherhead. She had an earlier career in international banking, where her clients were major multi-national companies. She graduated in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University, followed by a Masters Degree from the London School of Economics and was called to the Bar in 2000."[1]
