The Clerk's Information System (CIS) of the Virginia State Corporation Commission is a useful resource for researching companies registered in the State of Virginia in the United States.
Unfortunately, its design is somewhat eccentric, as it consists of a traditional terminal-driven application which has had a minimum of work performed on it to enable it for the web.
