Biographical Information

He died in 2013.

"Clinton started his political action career in Utah in the 1950's, 8 times defeating water fluoridation proposals. In 1962 he went to Washington, and from '62 to '76 helped to oppose a proposal by the FDA which would have limited potency of vitamins and minerals, finally helping to pass the Proxmire bill, which said the FDA could not limit potency unless it was found to be intrinsically dangerous. This bill became the basis of DSHEA, the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994. He also helped to pass a bill saying that in medical research, human beings could not be used as guinea pigs without informed consent. From 1976 - 1996 he worked as the Executive Director of the National Health Federation. He now serves as a health freedom legislative advocate for the Health Freedom Fund and is instrumental in health freedom bills at the state and federal level. He lives in Cedar City, Utah." [1]

"In 1961 Clinton was invited to represent National Health Federation in Washington DC and moved his family there and became their star lobbyist... he supported Dr. Wendell Whitman’s vision to launch the Health Freedom EXPOs and was a regular speaker and teacher to thousands of Americans about a broad range of health freedom concerns." [1]

"A faithful Latter-Day Saint, Clinton served in many leadership positions and shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone he met. He devoted the last three years of his life to full-time family temple work in the St. George Temple." [2]
