Colin Agnew "has over 40 years in the mining and mineral processing industry, the last 20 years in senior operational management roles. Most recently Mr Agnew held the role as Director Alumina Business Development for BHP Billiton Limited following 4 years as General Manager Worsley Alumina Pty Ltd, the 3.1 million tonne per annum alumina producer and associated bauxite mine. Mr Agnew brings a track record of strong operational successes in the management of complex mineral processing plants and associated mining operations where he achieved efficiencies in operations and increased profitability through productivity increases, strong expansion management and focussed operational cost management. Mr Agnew graduated from the University of Queensland Bachelor of Engineering [Mining], in 1966 and holds a Masters degree from Sloan School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and holds a First Class Metalliferous Mine Managers Certificate, Queensland." [1]
