Crosslink Strategy Group (CSG), co-founded in 2005 by Terry Nelson and John Dunagan, "offers traditional grassroots lobbying services as well as unique grasstops services, such as 'surgical' in-state lobbying, political intelligence collection and 'Media Where it Matters'. Crosslink Strategy Group features the most current and extensive national network of top-notch field operatives in the industry and, due to the 'boutique' nature of the firm, Crosslink's clients receive unparalleled personal service from its principals," its website states.[1]

In May 2006, Crosslink become an operating unit of Mercury Public Affairs, a "full-service communications firm headquartered in New York, and a member of the Fleishman-Hillard family of companies," which is part of Omnicom Group.[2]

Crosslink was created to "manufacture 'grassroots' campaigns for corporations and interest groups," Andrew Wheat wrote October 21, 2005, in The Texas Observer. [3]
