Biographical Information

"Désirée Younge is a Senior Manager as part of the Global Philanthropists Circle team at Synergos Institute. Her work focuses on supporting global Philanthropists concerned with poverty alleviation, social justice, and inequality in Africa. Previously she worked at the Robin Hood Foundation, where as a Senior Program Officer her grant-making experience covered issues including immigration, HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, homelessness, health, and food security. She also provided technical assistance on management, operations, and program development to a wide range of nonprofit organizations in New York and abroad. Désirée holds a B.A. in Business Administration, with a major in Marketing and Graphic Design, from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. She also holds a Master?s in International Affairs, with a concentration in Socioeconomic Development from the New School University. She is a national of Sierra Leone and a world traveler."[1]
