D. Robert Worley
In December 2001, Dr. D. Robert Worley joined the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies as a Senior Research Fellow. Prior to that, he was a "research staff member at the Institute for Defense Analyses ... Dr. Worley began his defense analysis career at the RAND Corporation analyzing higher echelon command and control, including wargaming and training exercises. Prior to RAND, he managed and directed research and development efforts at the Hughes Aircraft Company, NASA, and University of California at Los Angeles. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1967 to 1971 with one tour in Vietnam.
"Dr. Worley earned a doctorate in electrical engineering and computer science from UCLA. In addition, he has graduate degrees in government from Johns Hopkins University, national security studies from Georgetown University, engineering from UCLA, and electrical engineering from the University of Southern California. He earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Worley formerly served on the computer science faculty at UCLA and is now a fellow at Johns Hopkins University's Washington Center for the Study of American Government. He is also a member of the adjunct faculty at George Washington University's Elliot School of International Relations."
