Dale E. Rice Jr., 48, of Crestview, Florida, president and chief executive officer of First National Bank of Crestview, was appointed April 11, 2007, for a term ending May 31, 2010, by Governor Charlie Crist to the District Board of Trustees, Okaloosa-Walton College. [1]

According to Florida corporate records, Rice was a director (1995-1996) and served as registered agent (1996-2004) at Tepper Aviation, Inc.


"Dale E. Rice, Jr. is the President and CEO of First National Bank of Crestview and has more than 20 years experience in banking. He graduated from Troy State University with a degree in Finance and attended the Florida School of Banking at the University of Florida.

"He is active in many organizations throughout Okaloosa County, including the Crestview Chamber of Commerce, the Okaloosa/Walton Building Industry Association, North Okaloosa Medical Center Board of Trustees, the OWC Foundation Board of Directors and the Crestview Rotary Club. He was recently named a Paul Harris Fellow through Rotary. Rice is a mentor with the Take Stock in Children program, and he is the director of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Crestview High School. He is also a member of the Student Advisory Council (SAC) at Crestview High School where he was named contributor of the year in 2004." [2]
