Biographical Information

"Dan Pellegrom has been the president of Pathfinder International for the last 26 years... Pathfinder became only the second US-based organization to receive the United Nations Population Award in 1996.

"Dan has served on various boards of directors including The Guttmacher Institute, World Neighbors, and is a past board chair of both the Brush Foundation and InterAction...

"Prior to joining Pathfinder, Dan was the executive director of two US-based Planned Parenthood affiliates. He has spent his entire career as an unswerving and passionate advocate for reproductive health and rights. Dan was the president of the Student Council at Columbia University in 1968, a graduate of Union Theological Seminary and, recently, in recognition of his career, the recipient of The Union Medal, the highest award given by his alma mater."
