Background on Plant

The first seven units of Datang Luoyang power station with 185MW capacity were built between 1958 and 1965, and all retired in 2000. Units 8-9 are 165MW each and commissioned in 1999. Unit 10 is 75MW and commissioned in 2001. Units 11-12 are 300MW each and commissioned in 2005. It is owned by China Datang and Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group.[1][2]
