Biographical Information
British. BA in Mathematics; BSc in Natural Science (Physics) and MBA (Harvard). David Challen was appointed to the Board of Smiths Group "in September 2004. He is Chairman of the EMEA Governance Committee at Citi and former Chairman of J Henry Schroder & Co Ltd. He is Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Anglo American plc. He is also a Deputy Chairman of the Takeover Panel." [1]
