Biographical Information

"From 1993-2000 David was a non-executive director of Leicester Royal Infirmary before joining the Board of the East Midlands Strategic Health Authority as a non executive director in 2006, taking up the role of Acting Chair of the Strategic Health Authority in May 2010.

"In 1992 he was appointed Pro Vice-Chancellor at De Montfort University. In the 1990s he was actively engaged in the regeneration of Leicester's inner city as a founding director of Leicester City Challenge and was line manager for the university's Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. In 2000 he was appointed Vice Chancellor of the University of Lincoln, retiring from that post in December 2009." [1]
