Biographical Information

"Dave Hunter became involved in the steering group to set up The Community Farm in January 2010, inspired by the vision of a social enterprise producing organic food for the local community and creating a place for people to reconnect with the land. Dave is a solicitor, working for Bates Wells & Braithwaite, a law firm specialising in support to charities and social enterprises. He is currently chair of The Community Farm and is also on the boards of Bristol Pound CIC and the Ethical Property Foundation. Committed to the principles underpinning the Transition movement, Dave is keen to see The Community Farm model replicated by others across the country and beyond. Dave lives in Bristol with his partner and two daughters." [1]

He is currently completing the MSc in Sustainability and Responsibility at Ashridge Business School. [2]
