David Locke became a trustee of the Charities Aid Foundation, and joined our audit committee, in 2007.

"David was appointed as Finance Director at BMS World Mission (“BMS”) in 2000. BMS is a Christian charity that has 400 personnel working in over 35 of the poorest countries of the world. David’s responsibilities include finance, legal matters, investments, information technology and human resources.

"Previous to joining BMS he was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young heading up a division helping clients to implement global accounting system solutions. Previously he was with KPMG.

"David is also a Trustee of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) and serves as a Vice-Chair of Governors at Didcot Girls School in Oxfordshire. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Certified Information Systems Auditor and member of the Charity Finance Directors’ Group (CFDG)." [1]
