Don Boyd "is the Chief Executive Partner (CEP) of Deacons. Appointed in 2000 following national integration, Don has crafted the strategy that has led the firm through its impressive growth and consolidation cycle.

"With a background in tax law, Don became an agribusiness specialist although the diversity of his practise later included such work as the Cape York Space Project. With over 30 years experience in legal practice, Don was a highly skilled negotiator and diplomat by the time he headed up Deacons.

"Prior to becoming CEP, Don was Managing Partner of Deacons’ Brisbane office from 1991 to 1995 and National Executive Chairman from 1995 to 2000. Between 1996 and 2000, he was also Chief Executive Officer of Deacons in Asia where he was responsible for devising the strategy, management and operations of Deacons’ Bangkok, Beijing, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Shanghai, Singapore and Taipei offices."
