Don Dennis, President and Chair of the Executive Committee of the Streit Council, "after having been a naval officer in the South Pacific during WWII, has been Executive Director of Federal Union, 1946-49, (Associate, then) Executive Director of the Atlantic Union Committee, 1949-53, (General Manager, then) Vice President of the Foreign Policy Association, 1953-1986.He was in the U.S. Delegation to NATO's Atlantic Congress, London, 1959. He has served continuously as a Board member of Federal Union, which became the Atlantic Union Committee, and now the Streit Council, 1956-2006, during which time he served for over 30 years as Board Secretary, 1958-1992. At the same time, Dennis worked as Vice President of the Foreign Policy Association ( New York ) for 34 years, now retired. He has recently published Foreign Policy in a Democracy, The Role of the Foreign Policy Association (2003). See Who's Who in the World." [1]
