Donald N. Jensen, "who holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. in government from Harvard, and has also taught at Harvard, Cornell, and Stanford Universities, was in the Foreign Service from 1985 to 1996, serving as Deputy Chief at the U.S. Embassy’s Political/Internal Section in Moscow, and Political Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Sofia, Bulgaria. Don was a consultant/commentator for the PBS program "Return of the Czar", which won the Overseas Press Club’s Edward R. Murrow Award for distinguished reporting of international affairs in 2001. Don is currently Director of Communications at radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in Washington DC (previously RFE/RL Director in Prague), and is also Visiting Professor of Comparative Politics at George Washington University.
