EADS (European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company) is an aerospace and defence manufacturer headquartered in the Netherlands. Military products include: fighter and transport aircraft, helicopters and missiles. It formed from the merger of Daimler Aerospace (DASA, Germany), Aerospatiale Matra (France), and Construcciones Aeronauticas SA (CASA, Spain). EADS is the largest aerospace firm in Europe and second only to Boeing worldwide. Its largest holding is Airbus.

In 2006, sales were US$52 billion. [1]
