Earth Share "was set up by Australia’s leading environmental organisations to develop new and innovative programs to build the capacity and cooperation of the environment movement. It also works cooperatively with community groups in other community sectors to support non-profit organisations and communities around the country." [1]

Their eleven member organisations are: The Arid Lands Environment Centre, the Australian Conservation Foundation, the Conservation Council of South Australia, the Conservation Council of Western Australia, Environment Victoria, Friends of the Earth Australia, the Nature Conservation Council of NSW, the Queensland Conservation Council, the Tasmanian Conservation Trust, The Wilderness Society and the Conservation Council of South East Region and Canberra.

Their work has also been supported by a grant from the Myer Foundation. [2]

CHANGE OF NAME

Earth Share Australia is in the process of restructuring. This will involve a change of name to Environmental Projects Australia and a change of our operational focus. [3]
