Biographical Information

Elaine Hindal, Director, Campaign for Childhood Division for the Children's Society.

"Elaine joined The Children's Society in 2009, having held senior positions in international marketing and commercial strategy. In this year, the organisation published A Good Childhood: Searching for Values in a Competitive Age. This report was the result of a three-year inquiry to understand modern childhood and to inform, improve, and inspire all our relationships with children. Under her direction, we recently released yet another groundbreaking report, The Good Childhood Report 2012, based on the views of over 30,000 children and young people. The report presents compelling evidence on the factors that affect the well-being of children and young people throughout the UK.

"Elaine’s other charitable interests include the Alzheimer's Society, with whom she is a non-executive director, and the Brain Research Trust, to which Elaine was appointed Trustee in January 2012." [1]
