Biographical Details

"Estella Leopold is a professor of Botany at the University of Washington. Her research in pollen analysis has led to her interests in the evolution and ecological history of western American forests and prairies. As a daughter of Aldo Leopold she is actively involved in restoration ecology, and is the founder and director of the Aldo Leopold Foundation of Baraboo, Wisconsin." [1]
