The Football Club exists 'to play matches against the parliaments of other countries, clubs and organisations and to raise money for associated good causes'

Officers

The group organised a fund raising dinner held in the House of Commons on 31 January 2003 at which corporate donors bought tables and individuals bought tickets for an auction and raffle.

The amounts received were as follows: £5000 each from OCC, Canary Wharf, Manchester United, BBC TV Sport, ITV Sport, McDonalds, Professional Footballers' Association; Daily Mail £500; Arsenal Football Club £1000; Nationwide Building Society £500; Mr Simon Astaire £1050; Mr Robert John £1050 (all registered April 2003).

The group is giving the net proceed from this event to TRUCE, an organisation to develop football facilities in war torn countries.
