Forestry Tasmania

Forestry Tasmania (FT) is a Tasmanian government-owned forestry company with the Board of Directors "responsible directly to the Minister for Energy and Resources for its operations."[1] As of January 2010, David Llewellyn is the Minister for Energy and Resources.

On its website FT states that "our operations are independently certified under the Australian Forestry Standard (AFS) which sets stringent environmental, social and economic criteria for forest management and production tracking."[2]
