FreedomChannel.com is a product of Freedom Channel Inc., a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, founded in 1999 "by Doug Bailey and Roger Craver. The Internet site is entirely free to users and offers political news updates, daily news interviews, voter information, and links to other political news, campaign and issue group websites. It features candidate-to-camera ninety-second issue messages from candidates on the issues of the day - and from spokespeople for the parties and issue groups as well.

"Today's launch (almost exactly one year to the day before the 2000 elections) includes the presidential campaigns and the issue groups. In January the site will add the candidates for Senate, House and Governor.

"Sponsors of the FreedomChannel.com include the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Freedom Forum, Carnegie Corporation of New York, and The Century Foundation." [1]
