Gaynor Humphreys is the former Executive Director of London Funders, "a membership organization working with funders and investors that support London’s voluntary and community organizations.

"Prior to joining London Funders, Ms. Humphreys was the Executive Director of Worldwide Initiatives for Grantmaker Support (WINGS), a global network of grantmaker associations and organizations that promote and support philanthropy. For ten years before that, she was Director of Community Foundation Network, the UK membership association of community foundations – a network she was involved in as a volunteer from its start in the 1980s. During the same time, Ms. Humphreys was a part of the development of several international networks in the community foundation field, including the Transatlantic Community Foundation Network, and she has done consultancy work on community foundation development in a number of countries.

"Her earlier work in the NGO sector in the UK included local and national work in a network of organizations which build capacity in the NGO sector and in community-based organizations (councils for voluntary service) and she has also worked in community development in several English cities and nationally in anti-poverty work (both campaigning and grant making). Ms Humphreys is also a trustee of a grant-making foundation in London and an active volunteer in her community in north London.

"Ms. Humphreys studied social anthropology and social administration at the London School of Economics." [1]

"Gaynor Humphreys has been a CPAG member for well over 20-years and joined the trustee board at the AGM in 2010. While all her working life has involved her in jobs concerned with social justice, it was five years at Family Action (then FWA) when her work was specifically about campaigning on poverty, using the organisation's experience of grantmaking to individuals in need and supported housing for poor, older people."
