Genetically Engineered Low Linoleic Acid Soybeans
Genetically Engineered Low Linoleic Acid Soybeans are genetically engineered soybeans with less linoleic acid than conventional soybeans. Low linoleic acid soybeans can also be produced through conventional breeding. Monsanto makes a genetically engineered Roundup Ready low linoleic soybean (MON 87705), deregulated in the U.S. in 2011. They are sold under the brand name "Visitive Gold."
