Geoff Buchanan is the treasurer of the Oak Tree Foundation.

"Geoff has the degrees of Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors having graduated with a Diploma from the Company Directors’ Course at the University of New England. Geoff was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Company Secretaries in Australia by examination with Distinction.

"For the ten years to 1999, Geoff was the Finance Director and Company Secretary of Skilled Engineering Limited. Other stepping-stones in Geoff’s career include portfolio management for a venture capital fund, finance and legal management within the aluminium industry, as well as mainstream legal practice. He has also served as a Director or Chairman on company boards in a diverse range of industries from plant genetic engineering, to electronic commerce, to road maintenance.

"In 1999 Geoff established Corporate Business Brokers, a mergers and acquisitions practice serving medium sized businesses throughout Australia.

"Geoff is a member of the Anglican Archbishop of Melbourne’s advisory Council, the Diocese of Melbourne’s Finance Committee, and the Finance and Investment Committee of the Anglican Development Fund." [1]
