Biographical Information

"George Holm is President and Chief Executive Officer of Performance Food Group. He is a highly regarded foodservice industry veteran with almost 30 years of experience with the industry’s leading national corporations.

"In 2002, he founded Vistar Corporation, a multi-channel food distributor specializing in the Italian, pizza, vending, office coffee and theatre markets. Since that time, he grew the business both organically and through acquisitions by $1 billion. The Company was purchased by The Blackstone Group in 2007 and became a growth platform for further expansion into the foodservice distribution industry. In May 2008, Vistar acquired Performance Food Group, a $6 billion broadline foodservice distributor. George was named President and CEO at that time."
