Biographical Information

"Mr. Stevenson obtained his B. Sc. in 1965 and his M. Sc. in 1967 from the University of Saskatchewan and is a professional engineer. Most recently, Mr. Stevenson was Head, Acquisitions and Divestitures for CIBC World Markets Inc. in Calgary, Alberta. Mr. Stevenson also was involved in M&A and financing activities with CIBC.

"Mr. Stevenson has extensive experience in oil and gas operations, including senior management positions at Suncor Inc., North Canadian Oils Limited, Enerplus Resources and Hurricane Hydrocarbons, including technical representation for Hudson’s Bay Oil & Gas in the Shell operated Alsands mining project, Syncrude’s Participant’s Review Group and AOSTRA’s Heavy Oil Upgrading study. In addition, Mr. Stevenson has international experience, spending two years in Jakarta, Indonesia with Hudson’s Bay Oil & Gas and was interim CEO of Hurricane Hydrocarbons Kazakhstan operations."[1]
