Gerry Oster, Ph.D. is an economist at Policy Analysis Inc., and is an anti-tobacco expert who has testified for the Plaintiff in legal cases against the tobacco industry.

Biography

Dr. Oster is an eminent economist who has numerous scientific, medical and economic contributions including, but not limited to: Surgeon General reports, National Center for Health Statistics, reports for the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Center of Disease Control, Tobacco Use Survey, National Medical Expenditure Study and the National Pregnancy and Health Survey. He has knowledge about the general and specific methodologies used to estimate costs of illness.
